Owner Colin Johnson has been in the suspension game for some 25 years now. He has a long history with cars and was heavily involved with Speedway racing back in the late 1980s and early 1990s - racing Modified sedans and then Sprint Cars at Ellenbrook, Bunbury, Claremont, Albany and Manjimup Speedways. This hands on experience has enabled Colin to achieve "Guru" status around Perth for his knowledge and passion for all things automotive. He has also overseen quite a few project cars of his own - be it his old 1968 Camaro, or 1957 Chevy so if you are undertaking something similar you will be in good hands with us!
Colin and his wife founded Malaga Springs & Suspensions back in 1998 in a small unit in Malaga where after a few years it was apparent the company was growing enough to relocate to larger premises. In 2001, the company moved to Oxleigh Drive, where they are still based today. Located on the corner of Oxleigh Drive and Denninup Way, just look for the big writing on the roof – you can’t miss it! Being a family business, Malaga Suspensions realise the importance of great service as well as carrying out a high standard of work all at a competitive price.
We are open Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. We have an air conditioned waiting room for your convenience and comfort should you be waiting for your vehicle. Or if you were after some extra information about the work we do, please read on below.
GVM Upgrade - This is a Gross Vehicle Mass upgrade which is undertaken to increase additional load carrying requirements. All of Malaga Springs & Suspensions GVM Upgrades are Officially Certified by an Engineer and fully comply with all licensing/roadworthiness requirements. Wheel Alignments - Our high tech Alignment machine carries out 2 and 4 wheel alignments on a wide range of vehicles, including most four wheel drives and just about any passenger vehicle imaginable.
